A few of my broad beans look ok until they are cooked. They then have a dark spot in the centre. It doesn't affect all of them. I've grown them for a long time but never seen this. Any ideas, please?

Hi ally, welcome to the group 👋 I'm sorry but I can't help with that question as I only grew them for a few years on an allotment and I never had that problem. I hope someone else can help you. Have a good day today.

I seem to remember it may be caused by a boron deficiency. next year improve the fertility of the soil you are growing them in.
