My 'Flamingo Lily' has never looked so good since my son & daughter-in-law gave me it 3 or 4 years ago! I divided the original plant in two in the spring & both pieces have grown well but the biggest piece that still had a "flower" or two that I think of as the 'original' has flowered much better than the other piece, though that is growing very well also. Over a year ago I pulled off a piece with some small roots to make a new plant. I put it in some water for a few days intending to pot it up when I bought a new bag of compost but it stayed in the water several weeks. Even so the roots didn't grow & the cutting showed no signs of growing. But I did eventually pot it up but in all this time it has done nothing more than make a couple of new leaves. There is really no sign of active growth let alone any "flowers". I think it may be dying
The 'Dragon Wings' Begonias continue to flower in the kitchen but the flowers have lost a lot of colour. They were a deep pink, almost red, when I brought them in but have since lost colour. I still have 2 plants outside on the balcony & they continue to be dark pink.
The Fuchsias are flowering very well on the balcony as they like the cooler weather rather than the heat of summer.
The first photo of 'Garden News' is a cropped version of the next photo. This lives in a smaller pot, (it was a cutting that I didn't have a bigger pot to put it in), behind the balcony door on top of a square tub.
Here is another, hopefully, better shot of the 'Garden News' standard which has begun to flower much more again in the last couple of weeks.
I don't have a photo, for October, of the other variety 'Beacon' though it, too, continues to flower very well.

Thanks, grindle! It's difficult to take a good picture of the standard head but this must be one of the best I've managed to take - to date!

That's good grindle I've got two but they don't grow more than 2 - 3 feet so they're easy to move.

Parahebe 'Snow Clouds'
Tricyrtis
Fuchsia 'Dollar Princess'
Pelargonium
Autumn comes to the hedgerows
Fuchsia 'Phyllis' (and a pot on it's side !)
Rose 'Francine Austin'
I don't know why the above photos are not very good, especially the ones of Dollar Princess and the Pelargonium - they're all right on my computer and on another forum where I showed them
