I still have a few plants flowering on the balcony at present, though these photos were taken a couple of weeks ago, that are still flowering:
Though the weather hasn't been "kind" to them they continue to produce flowers every day!
This Primrose is the only one with a flower at present. There may be flower buds in a few of the others I have or they may be leaves, I can't be sure.
The only 2 varieties of Fuchsia I have on the balcony this year (several plants of each) are still flowering away, they are unfazed by the weather! The standard of 'Garden News' is flowering perhaps better now than it has done all summer!
'Beacon' is still very prolific with its flowers but I no longer have a standards of it. I used to have 3 or 4 standards of 'Beacon' up until the terrible winter of 2009/10 which killed them all off in spite of having spend previous winters on the table in the most sheltered corner of the balcony & being inside plastic bags like other years.
I'm tempted to make a new one for next year!
I have had a Skimmia japonica on the balcony for about 4 or 5 years & again this year its producing it rose coloured bud that last all winter & later in the spring opened t star shaped white flowers. Unfortunately it doesn't have berries being as its a male form.

Thanks, grindle! The balcony is already looking rather tired & rundown but I want to get some Pansies to brighten it up a bit!

I agree grindle! I've grown them most years but for some years they are killed off by a Pansy virus. They make the balcony look cheerful with their bright faces during the dull days of winter! ππ

All looks good balc2, love that begonia drapping down Thanks & I'm glad you like the balcony π The 'Dragon Wings' begonia is not "drapping down" but is actually a very stiff, upright plant. It may seem to be drapping down & that's probably because there are several layers of flowers from stems of different heights. This plant loses most of its colour indoors after a few weeks, which is a shame π I have 2 plants on the balcony and 4 in the kitchen. The ones outside are in much better condition all round than the ones indoors even though they get a lot of light in the kitchen window.

Thank you grindle The Callicarpa is in a pot but it looks rather scruffy, I think it would prefer being in the ground so I'll have to find a space for it (if there is a space anywhere !)
