My 'Flamingo Lily' is still flowering very well! This is one of the 2 divisions I made of the original plant. The other piece, although growing well, hasn't produced any "flowers" yet.
This Fuchsia, 'Garden News',is still flowering as if it were high summer rather than half way through the autumn!
I can't show you any photos of my other Fuchsia, 'Beacon', because I haven't managed to get any pictures of it so far in November but I hope to take a picture of two in the coming days. But I think a cutting of it has rooted, if it has I'll keep it growing over winter & start making it into a standard next year. This lovey, self-sown, 'Bacopa' continues to flower outside on the balcony even in November! I had a couple of other self-sown plants, one in a wicker hanging basket, which has sadly died, & perhaps some seedlings in the tub where I have my "Chinese rose".

Thanks, grindle ! Yes, I agree, it's truly amazing to see summer plants still growing & flowering still during the first week of November! For these plants, however, this will be their last week as, unless something crops up to delay or stop me, I plan on removing the Geraniums & Fuchsias & probably putting them in pots to put on the balcony for the winter, during this week. The Cosmos can stay in till the last as I shall start with the planter closest to the road & work towards the one that has the Cosmos in. I shan't do more than one a day as it means digging out the plants I planted out in July this year, then digging in some used compost from the balcony, before planting the Daffodil bulbs. Then I will have to plant something on top of them!

Here are some photos of Fuchsia 'Beacon' after I dug them up from the planters around the cash machine & repotted them on the balcony:

lesley, great to see some flowers are still going strong! Though as it's getting colder we will start to see the end of the last of the summer flowers & more the autumn flowers like Pansies & Cyclamen. But haven't they lasted a long time this year? Who would have expected to see summer flowers, like yours, in mid November! Congratulations on keeping them coming!

Here is the very last photo of the Cosmos in the planters around the cash machine.
After I took this picture my granddaughter helped me to pull them out. Even she was sad that the Cosmos had to come out so I could plant the Daffodil bulbs I still have for this planter & so that I could put in the Pansies for winter & spring colour.

it's amazing how long flowers are lasting this year, but so nice to see, especially since the days have been so grey
