I think that's a fun idea and would have it done in my house. Not of a person, unless it was your own child - perhaps on its own bedroom wall, but definately a garden scene or plant or a holiday scene, yes. A pet too.

It's just like Hilda Ogden's 'muriel' (that's what she used to call it) in Coronation Street from donkey's years ago! ;D Nice idea but your photo would have to be extremely high resolution to look good on a full wall wouldn't it?

Sorry to disagree, but nope. I don't fancy it at all.

Athene (remember that shop?) used to sell them years ago. A friend of mine had a woodland glade on his wall, it made the room appear tiny.
I'm not keen on paint, messy stuff.

I remember Athena, WF Do you all remember that print of the female tennis player ? ? ;D She's in her tennis whites and wearing no knickers ..... well, the young lady in the picture was mentioned in the Daily Mail last week - with 'that' picture of her taken back in the seventies !

When i said that i would have this type of thing in my house i didn't mean that i'd do the whole house like it.
This type of wall art is best had a type of 'picture' hung in a strategic place, as a 'feature' and not as an all over wall cover.
I would have an image of a garden scene or a specific plant and i'd have it on my office wall. I might also have one on a stairwell too but they'd always be a classy image, not something like a portrait or garish image.
You need to think in terms of tasteful and not as one great big mass of image and colour. ....... at least that's how i see it !
