Louise I did get Kojo-No-Mai now I need to plant somethign at right hand side of it and behind I want to get a clematis on to grow on a trellis.

Just googled it, lovely! nice autumn colour too. a nice late floeering blue Clem behind it would go with the red Autumn leaves.

That sounds like a Prunus , is that right Scotkat ? Let us see a photo of it in your garden when you can I bought 2 Prunus in the last 6 months too, P. serrula and P. cerasifera 'Spring Glow'.
