Well OK then...if you're sure? To begin with, the buds appeared and looked slightly unusual and deformed.... But ever the optimist, I tried to look beyond the "ugly duckling" that was growing rapidly by the day and bore an uncanny resemblance to an alien, and assumed that once in flower all would be well.... Huh! How wrong can you be...

LOL...."Do I like them?" Errrrm.....what do you think? They look like they are infected with a giant scale insect, they are loud and brash (bit like me, but never the less....), they are bright fire-engine red and clash terribly with everything else in the garden, they have a bizarre shape and form (imagine a plant sticking two fingers up and you've got the picture), they are not "pretty pretty", and basically they should be consigned to the compost heap! They look even worse in full flower... So all in all, pretty much "bad taste" planting eh...?
