I love the shape of the Ginkgo leaf but was not too keen on the size. I managed to track down Ginkgo (2-3 feet) and Ginkgo Troll (3 feet) This is how large/tall a standard Ginkgo can get The trunk of this one is about 3 feet in diameter and has a lot of growing to do yet

I love these trees. The school where I worked had two Gingko bilobas in the yard. That second one you bought looks bushy.

The two I have are grafted, they are also very slow growing.
The large Ginkgo in the photos is not far from me, it is not the oldest in England but it is the largest.
They took some 'fuzz' off the top of it and rooted it, it looks like it is a completely new type of Ginkgo. They have to get it verified and give it a name. We suggested a name which they liked, we will wait and see.

I like your little ones, a nice size to cope with, they are pretty trees, but I wouldn't let one loose in my garden ;D it is a beautiful tree though

The trees are beautiful, I doubt very much if you will need to worry about it for many, many years. Next time I'm at the GS where the large tree is I'll ask how old it is. They have small trees for sale @ £6, I'm so tempted

A mate gave me a ginko tree in a pot a few years ago...I really loved it...but it's potential to grow very tall made me reluctantly pass it on to my son who has a much bigger garden than I do...it's 6 ft already....
