Some weedkillers you can apply onto the bark of a plant without causing damage but I used 'Roundup' to kill 'Spanish Bluebells' that were growing amongst this shrub. the leaves are going a funny colour

Maybe its just the new growth being a different colour. Anyway, Roundup isn't all that its cracked up to be. I'm sure your shrub will be fine.

I sprayed around alot of my plants/shrubs yes i got some funny leaf colouring but noting seams to have died that shouldn't have, the tulips on the bank also got misted by it but they still flowered (Huge), i wouldn't worry too much ATM give it a really good drink as the weed killer will break down faster with water.

The thing that concerns me is that the side of the plant that's losing it's bark and with leaf discolouring, is the side I sprayed!
