I remember my trip to Keukenhof a few years ago, it was stunning seeing all the bulb fields, really must go back again

What do you do with your tulips in pots when they have finished flowering? I used to throw them out, but I have some really cracking good varieties this year and would like to grow them again if I can.
I do have deep planted permanent tulips which come up every year.

Well - you could try giving them a feed, drying them and storing them until the autumn and then planting them - either in pots, or in the border. I give mine to a neighbour who has a large area to fill - she said last year's came up well!

Thankyou Geranium. I will just keep the especially good ones, so I will feed them now as they have died down and then I will lift them when they are quite dry and start all over again in November. Thankyou very much for that.
