It's on a scale to do with page views too, 7 dollars for 50,000 page views per month, so until a month is up I'm not sure how much....the more popular your board the more you are penalised ;D

They do seem comfortable, bright, clean, pictures look clear, everything is working well so where is the catch? You might remember some of us discussing these free boards and saying the only problem is advertising banners, well Proboards give you 2 weeks advert free! after that we will have advertising banners (no idea what for) on the pages....this is where they make their money on a free board, the alternative (also makes them money...win...win ) is to pay a fee to have the board advert free, probably that is why they give you a 2 week taster first so you get used to a board without them....The Mods are waiting for replies from certain companies to see if they will sponsor us for the amount needed to remove them, it will mean having their banner or advert or a logo on instead but at least that will be garden related, we'll let you know if we get a sponsor Blimey do you lot never stop? It would be great to get a sponsor but I'm up for getting my wallet out, I have a couple of crow bars, it should be possible.

Maybe we have a sliding scale of charges - if 'you' talk a lot you pay more

I don't think the advertising banners are that bad - I don't really notice them
