Does it eat much? Is it as bad as lily beetle? Is it easy to catch and kill?

I have never noticed them before but Barry brought the asparagus home in a plastic bag which I put in the chiller in the fridge until I was going to use it and when I opened the bag about 6 bl**dy beetles fell out

I love my greenhouses!
