Can't really make up my mind whether to have borders in the polytunnel or membrane it completely with perhaps a couple of areas of soil..for a vine....toms....a peach tree....and grow everything else in pots? What do you think?  |

I suppose a membrane would keep animals out, weeds too but there would be more watering to do especially when you're off on a 'jolly' I'd be inclined to have a patch of it that you could move about.

Lou, everyone I know with a polytunnel has at least one border. I would compromise and have a border on one side and the rest covered with membrane and pots. I agree, with Merlin, a lot of watering will be required for pots.

Thanks Cowslip.....thats what I had in mind..... ;D...One side has quite decent soil and the other side.....I would be happy to cover up  ;D |
