Yeah, we should have a tunnel warming party. ;D Yeah but it would be so warm in there you would want to replicate your famous picture ;D We'd all get 'tunnel vision'

According to AG, B&Q did a survey and discovered that 37% of us plan to grow at least half of their veg this year. If a polytunnel will extend the season all well n' good. I look forward to reports from Lou and Rosie on harvesting when the rest of us are shopping for it. If I had room I'd defienately have one.

Just a thought, how do you pollenate in a polytunnel?

That is an interesting question. I grew tomatoes in my new greenhouse last year and the crop was very poor, I wondered if it was down to poor pollination.
This year I shall be planting up the raised bed outside to attract more insects, last year there was nothing else flowering for quite a distance.

I give my tomato plants a shaking every time i pass, when they are in flower.

Good question Merlin ;D. The plan is to grow a few flowers in there to attract polinating insects...perhaps a dahlia or two . The doors will be open a bit too to let them in. I shake my tom plants in the greenhouse and there's always polinating by hand...I have a spare make up brush I can use
