This is the one thing that concerns me .........It was my OH's idea to go....I'll keep an open mind Don't take any notice of me, you'll love it. The ships are so big, there are lots of places to escape. Then you have your days ashore, don't always do the organised excursions, they can be a little too 'busy'. Watch your waist line too, you can eat 24/7 and the food is fantastic. ...I'm relying on "escape routes" if need be .....We've checked on the cost of the excursions...... :overy pricey!!!....the only one we are likely to do is The Pyramids.....can't pass up the opportunity while we are there. I've heard the food is good.......EEK!!!!!

One thing to be aware of is every port will be geared up to your arrival, cruise liners are big business. You will be able to get a taxi or a personal tour anywhere you want to go at a fraction of what the liner is asking.
