Yes, good advice.
I always do this to those low growers of mine and they've proven to be absolutely fantastic plants - as bushy and healthy as you've ever seen, and for a plant that's supposed to be about 18" wide it's exceeding that every year !!!!! It's walking towards the patio now !

Even when they are young plants lavenders are pruned with a machine so that they fill out before being sent to their outlets, like B&Q, for sale. I saw all this when I went with the NFU to Darby's who are actually farmers, although it is the biggest nursery in the UK.

They come under that heading Louise and it was a farm visit I went to, as distinct from the annual sale of nursery plants. There was a barbeque and a tour of the garden. My husband was horrified because he hates nurseries and here he was being shown around the biggest one in UK. At the July sale, we don't go around the nursery.

They come under that heading Louise and it was a farm visit I went to, as distinct from the annual sale of nursery plants. There was a barbeque and a tour of the garden. My husband was horrified because he hates nurseries and here he was being shown around the biggest one in UK. At the July sale, we don't go around the nursery. I could just imagine the look on hubby's face. ;D
