Tried slate but difficult to cut. As I have a propper tile cutter I found it so easy to cut tiles. Need to find nicer tile and maybe white pen.

They would need to be thinner than the quarry tile I'm familiar with though. Something to look out for at a boot sale.

No I don't need Tinypic, once I've re-sised it in my camera software and put it somewhere where I can find it (re-sised ) I simply pick it up in the forum browser. hang on I'll try it now....

Since I make all my small plant lables now from PVC slotted blinds ( originally Steves` idea ) I now have loads of butter cartons left . I thought this might be a good idea for larger lables for the veg beds. Now I won`t have to bend down to read what I have.
