Lovely and colourful Merlin. You may live North of me but your penstemons are ahead of mine and my Rogersia is showing no sign of a flower yet

You may live North of me but your penstemons are ahead of mine and my Rogersia is showing no sign of a flower yet Peony, I've lost several Penstemons but my favourite, electric blue' has as you can see come through the winter very well, and it's not lost any foliage. I've taken cuttings but hope to take more as most stems had flowers on.

Very pretty merlin. I saw those primula at the GS and was very tempted until I saw the price tag They are Penny's but I managed to turn one into three earlier on. Considering it's a raised bed they seem to be happy there.

I tried Primula vialii on the stream bank, but they didn't reappear after the winter. Maybe it was my 'friends' the snails! I think they're really lovely plants.

Mucho bueno 'G' no problem SP I normally sow them now but this time I'm going to take a risk and rely on the 'hardies' !!!! I'll probably regreat it though.

We bought the penstemen electric blue after seeing yours last year Ron, glad i have a cutting in the greenhouse from it, we lost the original over winter.

:)Looks very nice Merlin I lost my electric blue over winter, mum' on the other hand just round the corner, survived I'll be getting some cuttings from her plant ;D

I lost several Penstemens but the 'Electric Blue' survived, it was in a raised bed.
