Goodness me WF. You don't even have to turn up at a car boot sale. The goods are finding their way to you.

Red is one of the most difficult colours to match up Peony....hope you find a suitable "companion" for your purple clematis

We're back from our foray 'oop north', and I'm hoping to collect my laptop today - I must ring them.

Did you see it, then? We missed it all - just saw the last three police vehicles coming back from the site.
We had a very wet day in the Dales, but our visit to Seaburn's the day before was wonderful. ;D

I see - thanks, Rosie. OH had business in Lancashire, so we stayed in a dog-friendly hotel in the Peak District for one night, moved across to the Yorkshire Dales and went to visit a College friend and also spent the afternoon with Seaburn on Saturday, then stayed in a B&B for two nights. Came home via Burnley yesterday. It poured with rain on Sunday! By the way, I hate motorways - they were all crowded or at a standstill, and we even got diverted off one for a 10 mile detour. We missed an ant-nuclear Demo at the Power Station yesterday - I'm told there were police everywhere, including mounted ones!
