The verge is so high with grass and cow parsley, that we can no longer see to go out in the car. I phoned to complain, so a cutter was sent urgently and he cut a 2 ft wide strip on one side of the drive only for about 12 yards. I had to get my husband to drive me to the neighbour's for my lift yesterday as I am frightened to let my friends drive out of here. I can't do it as I can't see more than a few yards. It is a very wide verge and two fields long, but the council think they are saving money. The boss is coming from King's Lynn to look at it. How much will this cost? The boss did not come and husband had a near miss with a low sports car. I had a nasty turn when a motor bike came by. We just cannot see these. An email was despatched which had to go to Norfolk CC who sent it to West Norfolk, where it was sent to the right department there and yesterday we had three different size machines here cutting the verge. Then the boss came today. He appreciated that we had special problems as the entrance is on a slow corner of the A10. I have been busy with the phones as it is the first proper flying weather for ages and the engineer is going to France on the weekend. Husband is taking a pilot home to Kent shortly.

Well, I'm pleased to hear that the Council listened and took action.

it's a good job they got their finger out before an accident happened, they've just done our verge out of the village at last

The cow parsley left on the other side of the road is six feet high. I have never seen it so tall.

Now you mention it, yes, it's really tall this year. The weather must suit it.
