Thanks, Rosie and Lou. It was worth all the hard work, but I still have loads of plants left! Welcome home, Lou. Nice to have you back - even nicer now I've met you. ;D Sorry you had a bad journey home.

Rosie, did you see that Fordyce has a load of gardens open on 22nd July? These would be worth visiting and it is a must to have a pancake cooked by the Women's Rural. I am sure they said about 20 gardens open and the village is only tiny. There is no charge, but you buy plants and teas. Sounds good.

While I was on holiday....the local town had their yearly Festival and there were about 20 gardens open for the week-end.....we managed most of them and many a cup of tea/coffee........I resisted the cakes though .....my poor feet suffered ....and the town is hilly

'fraid not......I wasn't sure whether they would have wanted people taking pics of their gardens, and didn't take my camera.....there were not of the calibre of your garden Geranium...... .....very interesting and some were good....but very weedy

Because I just hate having my photo taken, Cherry. Very simple, really...no secret. Lou's very kind about my garden. There aren't normally obtrusive weeds, but this year I can't cope with clambering up to reach the dreaded bindweed up in the raised border - for obvious reasons. I hate seeing it there...I just hope my gardener will deal with it on her next visit. It stands out like a sore thumb to me, but another friend who came to the plant sale didn't notice it! I do tend to focus on the bad bits rather than the 'whole' picture.
