It is no good if it doesn't taste right. Quality over quantity.
If your mind is anywhere else Tel you need to stand in the corner, I'm talking strawberries.
The best tasting strawberries I have tried were some little alpine ones.

After having some for pud I have to say that my 'Irresistible' variety that are enjoying their final year are far tastier. Next year I'll have Frau Miese Schindler to try so those 'Finesse' and 'Florence' will have serious competition. I'm still hoping to have some Alpines this year though they are only just in flower.

Candyblue they're called 'Finesse' and 'Florence' but it's their first year (planted last year) and most will produce big fruit when new.

I too prefer Rasberries Louise but Strawberries come a close second. I had more tonight and for breakfast, we'll make wine with them tomorrow. I say again the flavour isn't as good as 'Irrestable' and no doubt many others like the Cambridges, Soverigns ect.
