Yes, there are ! I know of quite a few people who have them, they're awful ! There are birdsong alarm thingies too - every time you walk past the things they go off, frighten you to death  |

I asked a question ages ago and on another site (i think) about a birdsong that sounded like a gate or sign squeaking (remember that very old lager advert - in France, a squeaking overhead sign) and i now know it's a dunnock ! We get a lot around here and when i was playing around with the site i heard it so after a long time i've finally discovered who it is making the noise ! And what i thought was a blackbirds sound is actually a chaffinch ! Live and learn  |
