I keep catching them before they fly off round the garden. They are that fresh the fluff is still attached. Who would like to try some?  I have sown some myself, put some in a pack for later, listed some on Ebay but i will still have some left over. Remember what they look like?? ;D  |

They send out a spike/ball of seeds when the flowers fade you have to watch for them breaking down for the seeds to fly away (like dandelions) if you catch them in time they should just come away if you put your hand over and gently twist them. When sowing the seeds you need to rub the fluff away either with sand or pull the fluff away with your fingers. The seed is dry so should store no problems but its more valid while fresh. Sea burn I'll sort yours out tomorrow i collected more today so whats in the top of the bag (what you will get is freshest) . |
