I picked one last night in case we have a flower of the month at WI tonight. I am not sure because we are going to the bowls and may not take our flowers. It is completely round - a work of art to look at. I am fascinated by the back of the flower. If it was a proper show, I would not know at what stage to pick them.

Lovely Peony.....how long did it take for your roscoea to clump up like that. I think the beesiana is in the collection I just planted a few weeks ago....they are well up now ;D

Lovely Peony.....how long did it take for your roscoea to clump up like that. I think the beesiana is in the collection I just planted a few weeks ago....they are well up now ;D Its been in the same pot for about 4 years Lou. I overwinter it in my cold greenhouse and I do give it a (very) occasional feed . Its filled the pot now so I shall have to repot it next year. I might try a division in the garden because I think it is supposed to be hardy
