Yesterday I took the camcorder out and filmed the whole garden. Last night I descovered the drivers no longer exist for it and the CD which came with it has long gone. My footage will remain for ever more on the camcorder This morning I had a go with my little pocket camera. I only did the very top of the garden because I wasn't confident it would work or how much the card will hold. Does this work for you?

It works very well and shows off very well how it all comes together. I can understand more after this.

The camcorder is too old for the drivers to still be online. Technology is out of date after six months, if you have something for a couple of years there is no hope. I'm pleased it works, I did another one. It doesn't seem to be picking up anything red which is a shame because there is a lot of red flowers in these beds. The caption under the photograph reads "The veiw in 2000"

Thank you. The quality might not be brilliant but it is quite amazing what you can do with a pocket camera. I could probably have given a running commentary too. These mini clips do give you a far better idea of what my garden looks like.
Louise, I will try and remember to do one of these when the spring bulbs are out, the wood really excels then
Waterfall, pond and surrounding beds.
The part of the garden in sun. Dahlia bed and loads of bee friendly flowers.
Weeping Cedar, show dahlias, strawberry patch, compost bins and veg beds. The flower bed is where I dump anything I don’t know what to do with, one day I’ll sort it out.
Cedar tree with a copper beech behind it, the copper beach we grew from a one leaf seedling. The path takes you to the silver birch wood.
New greenhouse, tomatoes, chillies, peppers and basil
This is the last part of the garden and the conservatory. Now you have seen all of my garden.
That is it, you have seen the lot now, I hope you could piece it together so you know what is where.

Hello Tonka! Your garden is gorgeous W.F. & enormous, I'm not surprised your visitors spent around 2 & half hours there. I love the flower bed near your new greenhouse & sitting in your conservatory must be like being in the tropics, it looks as good as the glasshouses at lots of botanical gardens! I could do a virtual tour of my garden, it would take about 30 seconds to film! ;D

Think of all the weeding I have to do Sue.
Steve, it was surprisingly easy. You need to upload it to Utube instead of photobucket and use the 'tube' button rather than the 'image' button.
I might have a bit more of a play with taking movies on my camera, it has a zoom function which would be useful for individual plants or catching the Goldfinches bathing.
