Cherry, I have a number of my seedlings coming into flower, aren't they pretty? When you see the fresh leaves come up in the spring then you will know they are more than pretty. Of course, an established clump gives more flowers too.

Thanks Peony, I thought it might help to put all the bits together.
The tree is a Pussy willow.

I just played the video. The garden looks superb. You have similar patchy grass to mine. You obviously are not getting the rain.

I loved the tour round your garden WF...and seeing Tonka "in the flesh" so to speak .....I was surprised to hear the traffic noise though...I thought you were more isolated

No proper rain here for weeks, we have had light drizzle but not enough to wet the ground.
We are right on the road, it is only a small one but it is used as a rat run. It is destined to be turned into a cycle path (when the recession lifts) with access only, that will be bliss. The road made the house affordable so I can't complain.

I like the overhead view W.F. it gives a good idea of the layout, the circular bed with the dahlias etc. in looks lovely. Where did you film from, not up a ladder or perched on a wall were you, it sounded a bit windy! ;D

I forget there is a microphone on the camera, I always have the sound switched off on my computer so I have not listened to any of them. This is where I took the film from.
