The wind brought the wisteria down, I tried to get the ladder up there but it was just too windy (it is an upstairs window). We will just have to put the lights on during the day until the wind drops. That looks like a lovely place to sit & look out of the window W.F. - when you can see past the wisteria!

Pay attention Steve, we have moved on a page I potted up loads of snowdrop bulbs and was about to mow but it has started to rain. If I'd put my brain in gear I would have done it the other way round

I have done nothing at all in the garden today - it poured with rain this morning, and I've been busy indoors this afternoon after getting my hair cut.

I picked a load of chillies tonight, I thought de'cayenne chillies were not that hot, big mistake I took a far too bigger bite of one, then rubbed my eyes when they began to water. The rest are now in the freezer labeled HOT.

Yesterday i planted 50 daffie bulbs and a couple of other wee plants into the long border in the front bed.

Just nipped out to tie up some of the plants which have blown over & fill up the bird seed & fat ball feeders. Yesterday I went round to mum-in-laws & she was asking me what to cut down, what would come up again next year etc. The plants I put in baskets & pots in her front garden are still growing strong but most of the bedding in containers in the back are over, it's very sunny, hot & south facing so I think they got fried! I'm going to get her some winter pansies or something for her windowbox there so she has something to look out at in winter.

I don't like milk I've just come down the ladder for a coffee break. The wind has died down so I'm tying the wisteria back up before the storms at the weekend. If it didn't look so pretty in the spring I would have chopped it down even further than I did last year. Going up ladders has never bothered me before but I'm liking it less and less now. OMG I must be getting old ;D
