Thought I was seeing double there for a minuite Glad you have got over your upset with the garden Rosie. Its so frustrating when, after a season's hard work.....it can all be destroyed in minutes We will just have to hope that next year is a different story.... ;D ;D

Dead heading, weeding and mowing, loaded up the compost heap and burned all which was no good for composting. Picked the French and runner beans, I kept a few for tonight and gave the rest away.
Shut my shop up for this year, the kids have been in and stolen my money tin again, this time it was screwed down with five screws so they took the table top too. They went to all that trouble and the tin was empty.

I've been weeding a bit, and got rid of loads of wild strawberries - Fragaria - it's taking over in parts. I've got a pink flowered one aswell, but that's more well behaved than the white one.

I didn't know you had a shop. Did you sell your own produce? It wasn't a proper shop. I sow lots of seeds, take loads of cuttings and devide plants in my garden, my 'shop' is where I sold all my spares.

That's horrible - are you saying it's happened before?
I've been dead-heading and cutting back spent plants. Nothing interesting really.

that's horrible WLF, considering where it is I'm surprised they had the cheek to come in, I'm glad they didn't get anything though I've managed a couple of days weeding, cutting back and tidying up

Little b*****s WLF I potted up some primrose plugs that arrived ,took a tray of the colourful geraniums and a tray of trailing red geraniums - I struggled to get the red ones as the plants are very poor this year- might have to start with new stock in the spring Then I made a start on clearing out the pot plant greenhouse ready for the trays of cuttings as it is a bit too warm in the other greenhouse. Remind me not to plant purple velvet petunias with other plants next year They are very good on their own but smother other plants
