The green plant underneath the begonias is phlox subulata which looks spectacular when it is out because it lasts for such a long time.

Beautiful pics from everyone to welcome in September ;D I love all the begonias, your pink one is lovely Cherry, and I do like your hardy one WF (I'm hoping it might spread about in your garden and you have to divide it, and there will be few spare ones that you have to find a home for ;D )

Some photos I took today Fuchsias Anabel and Border Queen ...... Jose Tamerius ...... Clematis Julia Correvon ...... I can't remember the name of this variegated leaf. It gets mauve flowers on a spike in the spring ......

Lovely pics., the begonias are particularly lovely. I love that second fuchsia Hywel, not seen that one before, very pretty. There are lots of things still flowering here & some things have decided to flower again. Clematis Montana flowering again. Rosa rugosa flowering again Clematis jackmanii still flowering Small white on pink geranium, loads of pink self-seeded geraniums still out. Penstemon digitalis Mystica Hoverfly on Welsh poppy, yellow & orange ones still popping up. Hoverfly on buddleia Unknown yellow rose still flowering & lots of buds.
