I was just going to say that .... So was I! ;D Thank you all ;D You can't beat Rudbeckia for long lasting late colour. Good cut flowers too. I know not everyone likes yellow flowers but I always think they look 'sunny'

Are those R 'Goldsturm' they really make a statement, they spread quite quickly but easy to manage.

Lovely flowers Louise ;D C.'Empress' is very pretty, and I love Astrantia 'Shaggy', it mixes so well with other plants. I saved seed last year and grew lots more this year

Lovely pictures Geranium ;D What's the shaggy pink flower in the second one? Although it does look like Astrantia in my pic, it is actually a dark red sedum ;D It's Campanula 'Pink Octopus', Peony.

I saw it at Malvern two years ago, and bought plug plants this spring - I think it was from Dobies. I was warned that they 'creep', Peony, and they are. I like them a lot, though, so I forgive them. ;D
