It looks like a world wide problem.. Yes, it seems as cites aim to reduce urban sprawl with higher density living, less and less people have access to growing space.

I like them. Singapore will easily become the botanical city of the world because they already have one of the best botanic gardens with glorious orchids.

That's right Geranium. Singapore is renowned for orchids. My daughter grows orchids outside and huge gingers, everything tropical and she is 19 deg latitude. Singapore is 1 degree north, so it is almost on the equator.
