I like your Irises and Crocuses. I nearly bought those Iris bulbs last autumn, but got side tracked, and forgot to go back for them. I've got one solitary snowdrop flower at the moment The daffodils I showed have been in the conservatory so it's brought them on early.

Ah - that explains it! However, a garden I passed this morning had several clumps of daffodils in full bloom!

I have Katherine Hodgkin irises as well but no sign of any of mine yet. The hellebores are in bud though & there are lots of green spikes everywhere & buds on the euphorbia.

Lucky you to have Daffs in flower, they really give you a boost at this time of year. I think I must have planted mine upsidedown ;D My Fuschia (yellow leaves) lost it's leaves weeks ago but it's now covered in fresh new ones, It's been so mild but I doubt it will keep it's new leaves

How about Zepherine Drouhin? She kindly produced a lovely flower for me. I still have butterfly antirrhinums in flower. My Hellebores are all starting to bloom now. This is Iris reticulata 'Clairette'.

Lovely pictures Geranium Your flowers are way ahead of mine. Your rose is beautiful and I like the 'spotty' petals on your Hellebore. I checked my diary for last year and my Iris reticulata didn't flower until the second week of February.

Wow! A whole month early, then, Peony! I felt privileged to find that beautiful rose today. Some of my Hellebores have been nibbled, I'm afraid, ::)but the 'spotty' one was left alone.

I enjoyed all your photos Geranium. It's especially nice to see that rose in January.

Same here. Great photos considering this is January, or any time really. I just love that rose. Is it smelly just now or has the scent sort of faded?

Those do all look lovely Geranium, still only things in bud here apart from the winter pansies & violas, cyclamen & wallflowers but there are a few tiny fresh pink geraniums in flower!

I just went out & had a quick look & these were all that I could find apart from a few slightly chewed wallflowers! The pots with ornamental cabbages etc. are still looking O.K. but the cabbages are starting to lose leaves now. Tiny pink geraniums Hellebore buds Euphorbia flowers Welsh poppy! Mini roses Primulas

We had a light frost last night but it didn't kill anything, even my ornamental kale! I'm still marvelling at a perfect rose, with spring bulbs appearing at the same time!

I've got primulas like that Sue. ;D They will look great in another month or so. The hellebores are just as lovely in bud as flower. I am very fond of them. That cyclamen in the first pic could survive very well outside. I put a couple of these patio ones in a couple of years ago to give them a chance and they are fine.

Nothing in flower here, did notice a fair few crocuses coming up in the front garden among the weeds and snow drops in the back garden in the grass/weeds. Will dig them all up and put them in pots after they have flowered.
