Sarcococca Hookeriana, Digyna, Cherry sent me this shrub, i think i will just have to keep potting it on as it gets bigger. I do not think the soil here will suit it.

I don't think Sarcococca are fussy about soil types Tel, the RHS just says 'moist, fertile soil', so you should be OK to plant in the garden.

Those Iris look lovely en masse, something eats the stalks of mine just below the flower head. That is a lovely photo of the snowdrops Sue. Most of mine are still buds and quite a bit later than last year, perhaps they need it colder. so are mine

I love your iris bed Geranium, I might try that next year. At the moment I have some grouped in a pot which, some are in flower and others are still in bud.
Beautiful pictures of the snowdrops, Sue. I found 3 in flower on Christmas Day but all the others are now either in bud or flowering, depending on their situation in the garden, I think. My winter aconites are just opening up this week.
My cream hellebores have been flowering for weeks, in fact some are going over now, but my beautiful pink one is just in bud.

Mine's in the ground, but over the other side of the garden. I wish it could be nearer the house, but that seemed to be the best position.

Peony, it's about 3' tall now, and bushy. Too big to go in a pot, and I have no space nearer the house.
