Those cabages have got nice colours Sue. I've never tried them. And nice to see all your photos, especially the Hellibores in bud, and the Euphorbia flowers.

Just noticed this morning that my witchhazel has burst into bloom over the weekend, it must be the sunshine that's brought it out! Still can't remember if it's 'Diane' or 'Jelena' ?

I love witch hazels. I don't think mine are in flower yet though. I can't go and see, as I'd have to waalk across the frosty grass.

How big is your tree Sue? and does it have any scent ? I bought the yellow one for a friend, it just arrived yesterday from T&M but its only little in a 9" pot , wondering now i I should keep it give her the black bamboo instead.

It's not that big Ladybird, it's in a raised bed & has to compete with euonymus, lavender, crocosmias & other bits & pieces. It's more of a multi-stemmed bush about 4ft tall. It's supposed to be scented but I can't say I notice any but I think that might just be me, I think the yellow ones have more fragrance & grow larger.

I think it is 'Diane'. I just looked them up and this is the zingy coloured one. Very pretty.

I would give her the bamboo LB....and keep the yellow one until it is a bit bigger ....I know I would ...lol

I think Cherry is right, my Jelena is more orange coloured. That is a lovely one, the red one I have isn't anywhere near as bright as that

Just noticed there is a new bud on my 'no name' yellow rose in the front garden! Bit blurry, quite windy out there!
