That is very pretty Steve. Sawfly will love that. I keep watching my ordinary one after discovering sawfly last year. I don't know Drosera. It seems quite dramatic.

Pretty Solomon's seal Steve but I don't think I'll get one, I gave up on gooseberries because of sawfly so I'd be bound to get the ones which eat that as well!

How do you get on with your golden hop Steve? I inherited two and they drive me scatty getting the dead vines down from trees - they go so high!

I'll take another one tomorrow if it's not cloudy so the flowers open. This is just a big hole that we lined with concrete and bricks and we let it fill up with rainwater runoff. There's some fish in there mostly catfish (hope they do eat mosquito larvae) and I threw in lots of water lilies all of it traded with cakes and pies from the neighbors
