Ha ha grindle. You couldn’t help yourself and you don’t even have places for them! They sound a nice lot of shrubs.

Eli, they are some super plants! I've never grown the white Grape Hyacinths either. I only have the common blue. But I like them so that's fine with me. 👍🏻 I've not grown Sempervivums since I left home in 1972! Yours are simply wonderful! 👍🏻

Thank you grindle and balc2 I don't usually get much luck with Sempervivums but this one was such a bright colour I thought I'd buy it and try again.

Eli, if you can grow many other kinds of Cacti and succulents what makes sempervivens different that you have no luck with them?

I don't know balc2, Lithops is another group of succulents I've given up on. I've tried growing them several times over the years but they always die on me.

That's strange, Eli! But then I struggle with plants that like it on the dry side as well! I can't grow Lavenders on the balcony - but they thrived on the allotment! I struggle with plants like succulents as well! I'm always afraid of overwatering them! Take the Money Plant for instance. A brother of mine gave me a plant for my birthday some years ago I practically killed it before the year was out! I did manage to get a cutting of it to survive another year but it dropped all its leaves even though it was in our sunny kitchen window & got very dry on various occasions! So it didn't die from overwatering!
