That sounds promising Eli, at least they've phoned you & have no excuse about not having all the details now, hopefully they will fast track their 'procedure', tell them you'll need them to pay for a taxi/hire car for you to take Beryl out if they take too long.

Brilliant reaction Eli! I do hope the council will surprise you, and us, and get this sorted.

We've all done daft things resulting in injuries grindle so you're not on your own! Just take it easy & don't go climbing on any stepladders/sofas/tables/chairs etc.

I have rehearsed Christmas songs for 10 weeks and reached the performance in the National Trust Volunteers Choir at Oxborough Hall on the weekend. We sang in an old chapel on the estate with no heating, so under my uniform I wore a vest, thermal spencer and leggings, but I still felt very cold. One more weekend to go with 3 performances each day. My legs are still stiff and I go to yoga this afternoon. The choir is newly named Cantorus Domas (Latin for, roughly, House Choir). It was very exciting and a far cry weatherwise from the Magnetic Island choir, which is going to Paris and Venice next year.

That sounds nice Cherry, good luck !
My car has been taken for repair today, and I am supposed to get a courtesy car this afternoon. I don't know how long it will take before I get my car back but I don't mind as long as I have another one in the mean time.

Cherry, you sound like me when my mum used to send me to infant school in vest, liberty bodice, jumper, pinafore, woolly tights, hat, gloves & coat, scarf etc. & it wasn't even that cold! Enjoy the performances & keep your thermals on as it's going to be cold this weekend. Glad you're getting the car sorted Eli.

A real challenge for me grindle as I am learning to read music too. I am in two of the best choirs in our area. I think I joined because I knew Panis Angelicus and the other people I was chatting to did not know it. This lady was the person who started the choir many years ago so it was a happy coincidence.

Are you learning to play an instrument Cherry ? I learnt to play the piano when I was little and passed two exams, one with a merit LOL but I haven't got a piano here and haven't played anything for many years … don't even think I could now. I think it's nice to be able to play a musical instrument
When I sang in a choir many years ago (I just joined because someone I know did) everyone used a 'doh ray me' copy of the music but I had to use one with the notes on it. I didn't understand the other copies.
