I wonder why they were selling them off at what must be a loss? Seems odd, doesn't it! You were in the right place at the right time, Wf.

I had to nip back to B&Q to pick up some drain fixings so I bought two more watering systems. I'm sure I can make a penny or two when the tomato season starts The best deal was this stunt kite for 50p

Had a walk up town today...and... Bought another bag of Rocket 1st early potato sets 3kg for 2.85 in fact you could buy 2 bags for a fiver Saw orchids reduced from 12 pound to a fiver at Marks and Sparks so bought one of those and at the other end of the high street retail shops I saw Instore/Poundstretcher had a large variety of fruit trees 5.99, they also had bags of 10 potato sets 1.49...ideal if you just want half a row or a couple of tubs on the patio

I picked this watering system up today. I saw them when I picked up my cheep bulbs but I didn’t think I really needed it even at the price. After a bit of thought it would be ideal to tuck away for use when we go away. I have compatible timer to fit between it and the tap. They were reduced from £49.99 to £5 Brill bargain WLF. B&Q sometimes do these, "last few, not reordering" bargains I got several coldframes for £10 each and several parasene thermostats for soil warming cables for £1, a couple of years ago. I`ll have a nip down tomorrow and see if there is anthing going as they seem to be doing a clear out now.

I want a camera nest box and those are cheap in comparison. It's a shame we don't have an Aldi I must check out Lidl, they normally have similar lines.

At poundstretcher this morning I got 12 fatballs for the birds for £1.67 so work that out. Cheapest ones I have seen so far. Normally 99p per pack of 6 but buy two for £1.67
