Sue your Viburnum is pretty. Mine struggles because it is very exposed.
I am pleased you have the camera Sweetpea. I would have had trouble believing that the daffs were really in full flower. It must be mild where you are and you have beautiful stone walls for protection.

I live in barrow in Furness and we have a wonderful Abbey, I was out walking on New Year's Day around the Abbey and someone had picked a load of holly and just thrown it on the ground, so I picked it up, brought it home, washed it as it was all splashed with mud, what a fab display it has made, it is lovely now the christmas tree has gone.

I usually like to have holly in the house, but not this year.

Lovely bud on your rose Sue....do it a favour and cut it off ....you will thank me for this come the summer...... Yes ma-am! ;D I'll see if I can bring myself to chop it off tomorrow, I don't think it will open very well anyway as it's very wet & marked & slightly nibbled by something!

Its not much to look at but it shows some of the daffs are out, and not a snowdrop to be seen in the garden yet The weeds come out later They're great Sweetpea, none out here yet but there are some stalks coming up in the potted ones outdoors.

Took pic this morning. It`s a purple cobaea scandens I grew from seed and planted out in 2011 . I had expected it to die over wintering up here in the north but it didn`t and flowered profusely last summer , still flowering. I hope to save the seed .

I grew some in 2011, and gave a couple to Louise - hers was amazing, and lasted well into the (cold) winter, but mine took exception to an east wind and shrivelled up.

We needed that burst of colour on the January thread Bernie. Feel free to add some names. ;D Third up from the bottom is different. They seem to be bracts on the shrub.
