One of my Hellebores looks like that, Cherry. I also have a snowdrop almost open! While I was out watching the stream level yesterday I took my scissors and cut two little bunches of flowers to cheer myself up. Viburnum tinus, Dianthus and two different Vincas - 'Jenny Pym' and 'Gertrude Jekyll'. Brachyglottis, roses, winter Jasmine.

I have copied your ideas and did not realize that Vinca could look so pretty in a vase. The leaves are neat and sit well.

The Vinca doesn't seem to last long indoors, but the roses have opened, Cherry. Never mind - there's plenty more to replenish that vase!

Would you like to see my next Amaryllis? It has three flower stems and its name is 'Tosca'. Is it unusual to have three? I've only ever had two stems before.

Amaryllis are spectacular and showy. They always add drama and I can't help liking them.

joysie21 the Amaryllis belongs to Geranium. Both Geranium and Lou78W are experts at these plants and they will have all the answers. Tel your pic sent me running out to the conservatory to look at my Clivia and it has buds which are well up. The conservatory is freezing, so it and the Hoya are always late in bloom.
