All the photos show a beautiful garden, but the view of the front of the house is breathtaking. That is the view I remember...a promise of what was yet to see

So many people have said that they didn't realise how much garden we actually have, because that's all that they can see from the gate! This is part of the front garden from the path in front of the house. Through the arch into the side garden. The island bed is straight in front of you. If you walk along the island bed you reach the summer house.

Thats lovely Geranium well done on all the money raised. have you never thought of selling the spare plants on E Bay? it would make more money for the church. Or offer them on the forum, I KNOW i would buy at least one

It would be lovely to have a GF members' visit! I'm afraid that you wouldn't want to buy any of the remaining plants, Rosie - and the postage would be prohibitive.

Off we go again - round the side garden. This has a large lawn, which is why I created the island bed at one end. To the right as we look, is the raised area where the weeping pear used to be. The summer house is at the far end of it. Behind me is the top border, which is raised and is about 40' long, so it's hard to get a photo of it all at once - so here's part of it. Another view of it. To get to the lawn (and the other side of the top border) there are steps each end. This is the r-hand flight.

Fabulous. I think the steps and its immediate area give a lovely feeling of a secret garden beyond.

We think we have six separate 'gardens', Cherry! It's lovely to move between them, as they're all different.
