The Polygala is a pretty plant and another new one as far as my knowledge goes. The Hellebores look great. I'd never seen or heard of polygala before I saw it at Marbury Cherry, I just saw the bright colours & thought it would cheer the garden up.

Lovely pics., I love the frilly daffs, never heard of the second flower (but I tend to do 'common' not unusual ) but it looks very pretty & delicate.

Thanks, all. I do like plants that are unusual. I have a white and a mauve Lathyrus vernus too, but they're only in bud.

Thanks, all. I do like plants that are unusual. I have a white and a mauve Lathyrus vernus too, but they're only in bud. I bought this plant years ago when I lived at my parents and it lasted for at least fifteen years with the odd seedling popping up too around the parent.....as long as mum wasn't too over zealous when weeding! Some of the seedling differed markedly in flower colour depth too. Sadly all gone now. When we get some in at work...I'm buying one!

Lovely flowers Sue and Geranium, I tried Polygala in my last garden, but I lost it, I think I had it growing in the wrong place. I bought the Lathyrus last year, must have a look for it
