Lovely pics Steve. I particularly like the scoliopus...very unusual....is it a bulb?

It is a bulb Lou though not usually freely available. Its probably best in a raised alpine trough so it can be seen better as unless you get down to it, you would probably miss it! Seems to be tough as old boots too as it survived last December's cold without any problems.

The hepatica is truly gorgeous, but I won't be tempted, because I lose them.

I lose Hepaticas too, Cherry, so I've given up. I've never come across that Scoliopus before - it's special, Steve. ;D I have lots of primroses out now - all different shades, too!

CPB I couldn't have pressed the right key, because I did write yesterday that the pansy was not at all a feeble offering. Very pretty colour.
The primulas are lovely. You can't beat them.

I agree with Cherry, not feeble at all, I love pansies and primulas. Most of my violas in my containers got ruined by all the frost earlier

It's all looking very tidy - I wish mine was! I agree about the stripy crocuses - well, I would, wouldn't I! Tulipa 'Ancilla' with pansies and Crocus 'King of the Stripes'. Tulipa 'Ancilla' open in the sun. Green pot with more tulipa 'Ancilla' In the green pot.
