Thank you all ;D I could do with a bit of advice regarding the Angelica (I've never grown it before) when I looked it up it said if you let it go to seed it can become very invasive . Its a biennial so it will die once its flowered, and I'm thinking perhaps I'd better deadhead it before it gets to the seed stage, Have any of you grown it and what did you do?

Can't help with the Angelica I'm afraid, but I was just going to comment on your Choisya. It looks lovely - did it suffer in the severe weather? Mine did - again - so it hasn't got many flowers. Thanks for the tour of your garden. Thank you too, Wf. It's so lovely to see gardens in bloom.

I was pleased to find my Rosa Banksiae in flower today. It wasn't affected by the severe weather, either. I have it facing SW in a sheltered corner. Rosa banksiae 'Lutea'Solanum crispum 'Glasnevin' is also just coming into bloom. It did have some dead bits, which I've been pruning out, but all in all, it's done well. One of my thugs has started to flower today - Centaurea hypoleuca 'John Coutts' (which should come with a health warning!) Here's the obelisk in the island bed with most of the Clematis flowers open. Clematis 'Guernsey Cream'My white Potentilla fruticosa is a mass of flowers. Potentilla fruticosa 'Abbotswood'How about a green Primula? Primula 'Francesca'

Thanks for the tour of your garden. Thank you too, Wf. It's so lovely to see gardens in bloom. The frost caught it on the top Geranium and I pruned off the brown bits, but when we had the heavy snowfalls I did brush all the snow off, so perhaps that helped

We didn't have much snow at all here. It was the frost that burnt the tips of most of the branches, and I've pruned them out like you did. Hardly any flowers, though!
