grindle,a lot of my crops this year have been devastated by mice, but my garlic wasn't great, I don't think it got cold enough for the bulb to split into cloves, broad beans..waste of time. My toms are suffering from a lack of sunshine. No cukes yet but the beans and butternut squash in the tunnel are going utterly beserk If you don't hear from me soon you'll find me caught in the tendrils. Loved your wee video Roofy, your onion look fine to me

I've repotted them in nice fresh compost so we'll see what happens, I generally give them a feed once a week when they are growing but I've only ever given these 2 a small amount. The leaves were tingd red so I would guess they were under some kind of stress.

Did a lot of dead heading, watered the toms. The butternut squash are going beserk! I hadn't been in the tunnel for 2 days and I swear they had put on 18" of growth. Anyone got any ideas how many fruits you should let the plant produce?

Way hey, well done grindle Graham is still workibg on a frame for my shed, can't get on due to being at work and heavy showers when he gets home. I've watered all the pots and tubs, gave them a feed too. Thats a shame about your strawberry daisy. despite being a fairly dull summer my strawberries have been pretty good

Hi ashwood and welcome to the forum How about Honeysuckle? Easy maintenance and the added bonus it's good for wildlife, also easy to propagate so you could cover the length of the hedge fairly cheaply.
