I have seedlings coming up in my NoID bed - no idea what the parents are. Between weather and work, the unidentified Dahlias did not get cut down at the end of last season, and some seed obviously ripened. So at least 5 little surprises have popped up! You could be lucky statistics are only a figure. ;D
Even if you think a seedling is not upto scratch for showing, there could be some nice one's for the garden, plus the satisfaction of knowing no one else as that variety.

I will have to have one last look at the seedlings on Friday, to see if there is anything even if not fully out that may be worth digging up and placing in a pot for the heated greenhouse. The frost may have killed the rest, if not Friday night, it will have Saturday night.
