Is it easy to keep them going in the heated greenhouse, or do they tend to go dormant anyway as the days shorten? They will go dormant next month, just gives the seedling protection from the frost this weekend. Brought one more seedling home this morning, that is it now for this year.

If i register any seedlings in future years i will need a prefix. Birkenshaw, is the area i live in, i could use that. Ie i could call this Birkenshaw Pinky [/quote]

Another one worth hanging onto for a second look next season. You have done well with them this year, Terry.

Some nice one's for the garden and maybe a couple that has show potential, but will have to wait and see on that one though. Will be interesting to see which seedling, the forum vote's for, to name Garden Friends, next month.

I will set up the seedling tubers very early in January for cuttings. I can see a lot of juggling about with all the tubers in Jan, Feb and March. ;D

They must be itching to show their awesomeness again, Terry.

Finally got round to sowing the dahlia seeds. Only 3 seed trays this year. 1 tray of collarette seeds I found from 2011, 1 tray of seeds from Hootenanny and a tray from unknown parents.

A few of the Hootenanny seeds are through, nothing showing in the other 2 seed tray's yet.

Potted up a few Hootenanny seedlings, there were eight.
There are a few seedlings to pot on, from the 2012 seeds, parents unknown.
