Dahlia Seedlings.

Will grow a few cuttings from them both next season the former looks like it could have a better centre than the latter.
The later has better shaped petals though, like i say they would make nice garden dahlias if nothing else.

I make sure when i take the seeds out of the pods they are dried on paper kitchen towel for a few days, i always have some of the brown little envelopes that some societies pay out their prize money in to keep them in and keep them in a cool dark place, i sow mine towards the end of March that is soon enough for me.
Do not keep any grey coloured seeds they will not germinate the darker the better.

The dahlia seeds are dried and put away now, until sowing in March.

Not had any comeback on it, i wonder if the trials co-ordinator sent any corrospondence to our old address we told everyone the new address except him.
Will have a look and see if i have his email address.
