these are all lovely photos Cherry Atticus looks far too friendly to be a ferral cat ;D Of course now we know he was put into the home with the job lot and was very obviously someone's pet. We will never know his past, but he is very, very happy here. I wish Aquila would come to me.

She may do given time , show her some kindness and offer her tit bits or food were she is usually found, she will come to think of you as the one who feeds, after that take it from there .

I wish Aquila would come to me. I can imagine it must have been very traumatic for a feral cat to be caught and put in a cage, I'm not surprised she is weary of humans. I've never tried to befriend a feral cat before, I can only guess they are similar to other wild animals and she will learn to trust you over time.

Floydie, I can't do that because Aquila lives in the railway carriage area which is close to the road. If she runs, it could force her to cross the road, which I am quite sure she doesn't just now. Dry food is available for both cats in the nissan hut as before. There are cat beds there too. Atticus has to eat in the nissan hut, because if we go away he can always rely on this. At the house, he gets 3 bits and no more of dog food when they are fed. The dogs get mostly dry food too.

She's lovely Hywel, do you have to comb her a lot as her fur looks quite long? Not sure if she's laughing, meowing or snarling in the second pic. but I suspect she's probably yawning! ;D

Yes I do try to brush her sometimes, but she hates it. She looks after her fur herself mostly. And I look after mine myself too ;D

This is Atticus and it is the closest he can get to the dogs' kennel which is just behind the Euphorbia myrsinites. He loves the dogs.
